Risk Management Commercial Pest Management proactive approach safety by identifying hazards that may arise during a service with assessing the risk of harm arising from the identified hazards with the primary purpose being to elimate risks to health and safety to our clients, their staff and guests.
The process where hazards are identified, their risks assessed and then controlled, so that the opportunity for injuring and illness is removed or minimised.
A source of harm that has the potential to cause injury or illness to people or damage to property.
The consequence and likelihood of injury, illness or illness to people and property arising from exposure to any hazard. The overall process of risk identification, analysis and evalution.
If emilinating a hazard is not reasonably practicanle, the obligation to control a risk to health or safety must be achieved using the following measures to minise the risk to the lowest practicable level.
a) Eliminating the Hazard b) Substituting the hazard with another hazard that gives a rise to a lesser risk. c) Isolating the hazard from the person put at risk. d) Minimising the risk by engineering means. e) Minimising the risk by administrative means. f) Using personal protective equipment.
A combination of the above measures may be required to be taken to minimise the risk to the lowest level reasonably practiceable if no single measure is sufficient for that purpose.
Each site Commercial Pest Management enters for inspections and treatments, a risk assessment is carried out and a process of placing in key order the best times for such inspections and treatments for each action taken. Furthermore, a report provided for high and very high risk situations advising client to look at reducing risk factors through an assessment from our clients and a mutual agreement for such action takes place for treatment. Commercial Pest Management can decline a treatment if the site isn't in a safe working environment for the client, its staff and guess.
