INTRODUCTION

It is important that all employees reads and understands the contents of the Manual.

Occupational Health and Safety is the responsibility of employees at all levels of the company. This Manual is developed to assist employees fulfil their responsibilities.

Our objective is to maintain the highest possible standard in Occupational Health and Safety.

The Manual will: -

             1.            state the Company policy on Occupational Health and Safety;

             2.            summarize the legal responsibilities of the Company, its managers and employees;

             3.            indicate the procedures to be followed in all areas of the company’s operations to ensure that employees are not exposed to working conditions, which are unsafe or contrary to health.

It should be emphasized that creating these conditions require ongoing effort and a common sense approach aimed at protecting the health and safety of yourself, your work colleagues, the customers and others you encounter in your daily duties with the company.

Where any employee is aware of any serious hazard they shall report it to their Managing Director or in his absence (service management at head office) and your nominated supervisor (if you are a trainee).

Whilst we will attempt to make the Manual comprehensive, it will undoubtedly require modification from time to time. The continuing vigilance and concern of everybody can only bring about improvements.
